‘Wolfenstein: Youngblood’ Released Today
‘Wolfenstein: Youngblood’ is released today and available on Xbox One, PlayStation® 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
Air-Edel composer Martin Stig Andersen wrote the original music for ‘Wolfenstein: Youngblood’, with Tom Salta. The game is developed by MachineGames and Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks.
BJ Blazkowicz, hero of the second American Revolution, is missing. Nineteen years after the events of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, BJ has disappeared after a mission into Nazi-occupied Paris. Now, after years of training and guidance from their battle-hardened father, BJ’s twin daughters Jess and Soph are forced into action. Team up with a new cast of freedom fighters and brave the unsettling sights and sounds of twisted, alternate reality 1980s Paris.
“In order to achieve the right vibe for the game, I’ve been using a lot of hardware from the 80’s. Through alternative usage I discovered some unique noises, and processing original source recording using an 80’s hardware sampler and cassette deck offered the grainy sound quality I was looking for.” – Martin Stig Andersen
