Air-Edel composer Patrick Cassidy released ‘The Mass for Choir & Organ’ on Supertrain Records on 8th November 2021.

“While writing The Mass I was aware that this would be the first setting of the Catholic Latin Mass by an Irish composer – it was a labor of love with no expectations. To record with one of the great pipe organs of the world at First Congregational Church Los Angeles helped me achieve one of my major aspirations, and gave me a sense of purpose for this work” – Patrick Cassidy

Featuring one of the world’s larges pipe organs at First Congregational Church Los Angeles, each member of the choral group sang their individual part in isolation during the pandemic. Growing from the challenges of quarantine, it is perhaps the first major work in history to be recorded virtually. A great human symbol of beauty sewn in a time of adversity.”
