Nobuko frequently collaborates with Kazuma Jinnouchi, composing music for numerous internationally-recognized projects including: ‘Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045’, ‘Remothered: Tormented Fathers’, ‘Halo 5: Guardians’, ‘Uzumasa Limelight’, ‘Halo 4’, ‘Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker’, and ‘Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots’. Their soundtrack album for ‘Halo 5: Guardians’ received worldwide recognition and was ranked # 2 On Billboard’s Soundtrack Chart during the first week of its release.

In recent years, Nobuko and Kazuma have worked closely with award-winning directors, Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki, and composing the scores for Netflix’s ‘Ultraman’, as well as the highly acclaimed series ‘Ghost In The Shell SAC_2045’ and ‘Star Wars Visions’, to be released in 2021.

In addition to her scoring work, Nobuko is the founder, musical director, orchestrator, and producer of the soundtracks recorded by the Film Score Philharmonic Orchestra in Japan.

Nobuko studied at Berklee College of Music and graduated in 2002 after majoring in Film Scoring, and Contemporary Writing and Production. After years of collaboration with a variety of creative talents, and unique experience as in-house composer at Microsoft and Konami, she and Kazuma have received numerous awards including BAFTA Games Award, NAVGTR Awards, Global Music Award, and an MPSE Golden Reel Award.
