Music and Sound Award Nominations for Air-Edel Composers

We are delighted to see four Air-Edel composers have been nominated in the 2022 Music and Sound Awards.

Dario Marianelli is nominated in the Best Original Score in Feature Film category for Sky Cinema’s ‘A Boy Called Christmas’, directed by Gil Kenan. The score was recorded and mixed at Air Studios. Maggie Rodford was the score supervisor and Mark Willsher was the music editor.

Ian Honeyman is also nominated for Best Original Score in Feature Film for ‘Cured’, directed by Bennett Singer and Patrick Sammon.

‘Card Shark’ by Andrea Boccadoro is nominated in the Best Original Composition in Gaming category. The score was recorded at Air Studios and mixed at Air-Edel Studios by Nick Taylor, with Score Coordination by Chantelle Woodnutt and Bruce New.

Dot Allison received her nomination for Best Sync in a Television Programme. Her track ‘The Haunted’, from her 2021 album ‘Heart-Shaped Scars’, was featured in the Showtime Emmy-nominated series ‘Yellowjackets’. The album was released by SA Recordings and published by Air-Edel.

Winners are announced on the 13th October.
