Air-Edel artist Dot Allison will release her new album ‘Heart-Shaped Scars’ with SA Recordings on July 30th.

The lead single ‘Long Exposure’ is out today, 5th May, and is indicative of the album’s fragile beauty.

The song is one of the first songs Dot had ever written on ukulele – “Last March I picked up the instrument and started composing, the fact I don’t play ukulele was very freeing and I had to compose purely by ear, constructing my own chord clusters.”

The single is produced by Dot Allison alongside Fiona Cruickshank, with Hannah Peel’s beautiful string arrangement.
