Amelia Warner Releases New EP 'Haven' with Decca Records
Amelia Warner has released her new EP, ‘Haven’, with Decca Records.
Nick Taylor recorded and mixed the ‘Haven’, which features Mike Lovatt and Dan Newell on trumpet, Richard Watkins on horn, Andy Wood on trombone, Owen Slade on tuba and Mitch Taylor on guitar.
“In some ways, it’s a perfect time for it to come out. Who knew that we’d all be spending quite so much time in our homes? There are moments of joy and triumph within.” – Amelia Warner
Nathan Klein worked with Amelia as the producer and arranger. The trio previously collaborated on Amelia’s score for BFI feature film ‘Mary Shelley’, which stars Elle Fanning.
“The intimacy and immediacy of doing it at home actually infuses the whole record as the slow and haunting melody of Drawing Room sets the tone. The faster paced Fable buzzes with ambient sounds feeling like a song for a movie yet to be made.” – Louder Than War
