Air-Edel Records will release the original soundtrack to ‘Wineville’, scored by Peter Michael Davison. ‘Wineville (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)’ will be available from the 24^th November 2023 across all digital platforms, including Apple Music, Amazon, Spotify, Tidal and Deezer. ‘Wineville’ premiered at La Femme International Film Festival in October 2023.

Directed by Brande Roderick, ‘Wineville’ tells the tale of a single mother who returns to her family home with her young son to settle her family’s estate. On return, she finds that the dark secrets she left behind have only festered and blackened over the decades, fermenting into violence and death.

In his soundtrack for the horror feature ‘Wineville’, composer Peter Michael Davison uses Cello, Viola Da Gamba and Targl Harp to create an alternative and exciting soundscape. His creative approach to recording, including prepared piano and instrumental extended techniques, crafted a uniquely jarring sound experience. 

Peter drew on elements of the horror music of Lalo Schifrin, Bernard Hermann and John Carpenter with nods to the sound design in Texas Chainsaw Massacre to transport listeners back in time to the 1970s. 

Davison’s music is integral in luring audiences into the seemingly innocent world of the winemaker only to uncover a dark and twisted secret. – Sarah Moffatt
