Air-Edel host MPG music awards judging day
On Monday a panel of judges set up camp in Studio 1 to judge the MPG awards. More than thirty top music producers and engineers were in Studio 1 voting on numerous categories, during a full day of listening to music submitted by the shortlisted nominees and/or their representatives, the discussion was lively and stimulating.
Votes for the nominees in each category was cast by secret ballot, but only after intense discussion of the merits of all those nominated, and also the whole process.
The judging was followed by a small reception where the producers were able to chat with Nick, Rommy and Tom about the studio. The award ceremony will take place in February.
