Michael Pärt has gained renowned recognition in the music and film communities by working closely with Oscar and Grammy award-winning artists.

He has worked with Icelandic megastar Björk, film directors Peter Jackson, Francis Ford Coppola, composers Richard Harvey, Howard Shore and film director and Prince of Thailand Chatrichalerm Yukol among others. Michael has contributed to award-winning projects such as the BAFTA winning LazyTown and the Grammy nominated albums Volta by Björk and Neon Bible by Arcade Fire.
Michael Pärt grew up in a musical family who were all actively involved in creating music -studying music was therefore a natural path for Michael to follow. After graduating at the top of his class, Michael holds a Masters in Music with Distinction from Kingston University in London.
Music has taken Michael Pärt around the globe many times over. He has been using his creativity to structure workflows, and lead and motivate production in music and film, whilst also contributing directly as producer, editor and more. Michael has experience in classical, contemporary and popular music.
Away from production he has exhibited an interactive light-to-sound installation at the Stanley Picker Gallery,and established the International Arvo Pärt Centre, a foundation to preserve his father’s heritage which he currently chairs.
