We are delighted that ‘The Secret‘, scored by Air-Edel composer Andrew Simon McAllister, and ‘The Go-Between‘ scored by Air-Edel’s Christian Henson, mixed and mastered in Studio 1 by Nick Taylor have been nominated for Broadcast Awards.
Based on a true story, ‘The Secret’ is a 4-part drama for ITV starring James Nesbitt as Colin Howell, a respectable dentist and pillar of the community, who became a killer in partnership with a Sunday school teacher, Hazel Buchanan, played by Genevieve O’Reilly.
‘The Go-Between’ is a romantic drama for BBC One based on the 1953 novel of the same name by L. P. Hartley. An elderly man pieces together his childhood memories after finding his diary from 1900, which he wrote when he was 13 years old. The beautiful score has been nominated for a Music and Sound Award for ‘Best Original Composition in a Television Programme Score’. The soundtrack has recently been released on Air-Edel Records.
