Channel 4 has released a trailer for its new eight-part comedy drama 'Loaded', written by Jon Brown (Fresh Meat) based on the Israeli hit Mesudarim, which follows four British tech entrepreneurs and childhood friends who become multi-millionaires overnight.
Loaded follows the lives of tech entrepreneurs and friends Josh (Jim Howick), Leon (Samuel Anderson), Watto (Nick Helm) and Ewan (Jonny Sweet) who have just sold their start up videogame company for hundreds of millions of pounds.
Overnight, the four 30-something friends are transformed from “people who play games” to “serious players”. Amidst a raging hurricane of money and excess, Loaded is about friendship, ambition, gluttony, the peculiar British distaste for other people’s success and how money can put even life-long friendships to the test.
The first episode is out on Monday 8th May at 10pm, Air-Edel’s Matt Biffa music supervised, assisted by Ciara Elwis.
