‘The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society‘ is out in UK cinemas today.
Air-Edel’s Alexandra Harwood composed the original score for the feature film directed by Mike Newell and starring Lily James and Michael Huisman.
“In 1946 a London-based writer begins exchanging letters with residents on the island of Guernsey, which was German-occupied during WWII. Feeling compelled to visit the island, she starts to get a picture of what it was like during the occupation.”
Maggie Rodford was the score supervisor, assisted by Emily Appleton-Holley. Mark Willsher was the music editor and Nick Taylor recorded the score at Air Studios, Lyndhurst Hall before returning to Air-Edel to mix and master.
