David Tobin & Jeff Meegan Represented by Air-Edel
Air-Edel welcomes David Tobin and Jeff Meegan to the roster.
David is an acclaimed composer, arranger, orchestrator and conductor. He studied recorder and oboe at The Guildhall School of Music, and then went on to do a degree in Film Scoring at Berklee, Boston, USA.
Jeff Meegan is an Emmy-winning Singer/Songwriter, composer and music producer based in Chicago, Illinois.
David and Jeff started their collaboration in 2010 and have written more than 1,000 works together for an extensive client list including BBC, HBO, Audio Network, ITV and Samuel Goldwyn.
After their first project of Big Band music, they found themselves writing, arranging, orchestrating, producing, and mixing everything from large orchestral sessions recorded at Abbey Road to small, nuanced ensembles, and electronic transitions and risers.
With wide ranging credits from “This is Us” to “CBeebies”, they began scoring on classic BBC Radio dramas including the award winning “The Count of Monte Cristo”,” The Barchester Chronicles”, and Emil Zola’s “Blood Sex Money”. They continued to hone their skills scoring and composing for documentaries for film and TV including “Super Size Me 2”, Bettany Hughes’ “Treasures of The World” and multiple Geoffrey Baer PBS documentaries in the US.
The duo most recently co-authored and mixed the score for the feature “Daughter of The Bride” starring Academy award-winner Marcia Gaye Harden and Aiden Quinn.
