Darryl O'Donovan
Darryl O’Donovan is a composer and music editor based in London. Recent credits as music editor include ‘Paddington in Peru’ for Studio Canal, Searchlight Pictures’ 2023 film ‘Rye Lane’, as well as the Left Bank Pictures comedy-drama series ‘Everything Now’.

Darryl was the music editor for ABC’s Emmy-nominated feature documentary ‘In the Cold Dark Night’ and Sky’s BAFTA-nominated comedy ‘Brassic’. Other credits include Netflix 2022 feature film ‘I Used to Be Famous’, BBC/Netflix series ‘Our Universe’, BBC series ‘Red Rose’, and 2024 Appian Way feature film ‘Ozi: Voice of the Forest’.
Previously, Darryl co-composed the score to ‘Just Charlie’, which went on to win multiple awards, including the audience award at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. He also writes music for contemporary dance and concert works, as well as his own experimental projects.
Darryl graduated with a BA in filmmaking from the Newport Film School and holds an MA in Composition for Film and TV from the National Film and Television School.
